You must be a resident of the European Economic Area, with valid ID and proof of address.

The Lekka account can only be accessed via an iOS or Android smartphone:

Download the Lekka application using the "OPEN MY ACCOUNT" button at the top of this page.

Access to the Lekka account will be available in a few weeks' time.

It will initially be open to residents of the European Economic Area.

There are 4 steps to checking your identity when you register:

• A photo of your valid identity document
• A video of your face to compare with your identity document
• Verification of your geolocation*.
• Proof of address less than 3 months old

*If you do not accept geolocation, you will need to provide 2 different proofs of address.

For European residents:

• National ID card from a European country
• Passport
• For a non-European passport, a residence permit will be required in addition to your passport.

For UK residents :

• British national identity card
• Passport
• For non-UK passports (European or other), a residence permit will be required in addition to your passport.
• (the British driving licence is no longer accepted)

When you register, after providing your ID and a video of your face, you must provide proof of address (or two proofs if you do not accept geolocation).

This must be less than 3 months old.

Proof of address accepted:

• Energy, gas, electricity or water bill
• Fixed telecom line invoice
• Internet bill
• EDF certificate
• Receipt of rent or lease from a public body
• Deed of ownership less than 3 months old
• Avis d'imposition ou de non imposition
• Payment schedule for electricity or gas
• France Travail (ex Pôle Emploi) / CAF certificate
• Proof of address provided by your employer
• If you are being hosted by someone else, please provide us with the following information
  • a accommodation certificate
  • + a copy of the host's identity document
  • + proof of address at the host's name

When you register, after providing your ID and a video of your face, you must provide proof of address less than 3 months old.

The following documents are NOT accepted:

• Mobile phone bill
• Bank details (RIB)
• Bank or credit card statement
• Old utility bill (more than 3 months old)
• Government-issued document dated more than 6 months ago
• Driving licence
• Pension statement
• Insurance policy
• Transfer receipt
• Bill other than fixed telephony or energy
