Be cautious
Phishing is the recovery of some of your private data. Fraudsters contact you pretending to be your bank and find excuses to make you reveal confidential information. This can be a confirmation code, your password or even your credit card codes.
The aim remains the same: to steal money from you.
The problem is that it's often hard to spot: someone posing as one of our employees, a fake e-mail or a fake website, the aim is to gain your trust. So we wanted to give you a few tips on how to keep your money safe.
First of all, an essential rule: Lekka will never contact you to ask for private information (SMS confirmation code, password, PIN code, etc.), even under the pretext of securing your account.
A few tips to protect yourself:
- Never give out your password or a code received by text message, whether by telephone or e-mail. A member of the Lekka team will never contact you by phone, e-mail or on social networks to ask you for a code or password.
- Check the authenticity of your Lekka application, as some sites may try to pass themselves off as Lekka by reproducing our interface and logo identically. So when you download the application, only use the download links available on the Lekka website. https://www.lekka.io
- Never give your card numbers or CVV code to anyone.
- Read your e-mails carefully.
Some of them are important (particularly those concerning changes to passwords or security codes). If you receive this type of request, please contact us without delay at support@lekka.io
Lekka's only official social media accounts are :
- Facebook : https://facebook.com/Lekka.io
- Instagram : https://instagram.com/lekka.io
Lekka is not yet present on the other networks.
Warning: any communication offering to lend you money via Lekka is an attempt at fraud.
Always remain vigilant, and do not communicate any personal information on social networks.
